Feeling Overwhelmed by Pet Nutrition Advice?
You’re Not Alone—Here’s Where to Start.
f you’ve ever found yourself standing in the pet food aisle, scrolling through Instagram wellness posts, or Googling “best food for itchy dogs,” only to feel more confused than when you started—you’re not alone.
The truth is, there’s an overwhelming amount of information out there about what to feed our pets. Raw, cooked, freeze-dried, air-dried, grain-free, kibble-enhanced—how are you supposed to know what’s actually right for your dog or cat?
As a certified pet nutrition and therapeutic nutrition coach, I work with pet parents who care deeply about their animal companions, but don’t have time to decode all the conflicting advice. And I want to reassure you: there is a way forward that doesn’t require perfection, panic, or Pinterest-level prep.
Why Pet Nutrition Feels So Confusing
One reason nutrition advice feels so contradictory is that it’s rarely personalized. What works for a 2-year-old Golden Retriever with allergies won’t be ideal for a 14-year-old cat with kidney concerns.
Plus, the pet food industry is massive—and not always transparent. Labels can be misleading. Marketing claims like “natural,” “balanced,” or “vet-recommended” don’t always mean what you think they do.
And while your veterinarian may offer general feeding guidance, most don’t have time (or training) to dig into daily lifestyle habits or therapeutic food strategies.
That’s where pet wellness coaching comes in.
What If You Didn’t Have to Figure It Out Alone?
My approach is rooted in compassion, science, and sustainability. I help pet parents:
Understand their pet’s unique nutritional needs
Learn how food, supplements, and lifestyle interact
Make realistic changes—without guilt, judgment, or overwhelm
Sometimes it’s as simple as adjusting feeding frequency or switching protein sources. Other times, we build a more structured plan to support chronic issues like digestive upset, itchy skin, or anxiety.
And no—you don’t have to be feeding raw or making your own bone broth to benefit from coaching. Whether you feed kibble, cook, or do a hybrid, we work from where you are.
Imagine this…
You’ve done your research. You’ve read blog posts, compared dog food labels, and tried switching your cat to a “better” brand—only to be met with more scratching, loose stool, or just plain pickiness. You care so much, and still, it feels like nothing is working. The advice online is confusing, your vet is kind but rushed, and every pet nutrition group you join offers a different opinion.
You’re not lazy. You’re not doing it wrong. You just need someone to help you sort the helpful from the hype and guide you step-by-step based on your pet’s real needs.
That’s where pet wellness coaching comes in. I don’t chase fads. We look at your whole pet—lifestyle, health history, temperament—and build a realistic plan you feel good about following.
